Whether you have a home you would like to rent out, or you’re seeking a rental home, you need a trained advocate and guide on your side.
If you’re seeking a home to rent, the agency fee is usually one month’s rent, shared between the listing and renting agent. What do I do to earn this fee? You and I will meet and discuss your needs. Then I’ll embark on a search for your perfect rental home, keeping you informed every step of the way. We will gather the homes you choose to view, and I’ll take you around at a convenient time for you so you can see each of them. When you find the home you love, I’ll guide you through the paperwork and will negotiate the monthly rental price for you with the listing agent. Once agreed upon, we will complete your paperwork and lease together and review applicable Truth in Renting laws, so you know and are comfortable with every part of the documents you sign. I remain your advocate for any questions or concerns you have throughout the lease and beyond.
If you’re renting out your home, my services will not cost you anything. I will come to your home, discuss your needs, help you determine the most marketable rental price for your home, and then I’ll take pictures and list and market your property for the best response from renters. When rental offers are received, I’ll screen applicants for you, negotiate the best rental price, obtain your security and first month’s rent for you and see the process through until your new tenants are moved into the property and all is well. I remain your advocate for any questions or concerns you have throughout the lease and beyond.
It’s a win-win for you to use an agent when renting!
