Hi there! Did you see my prior post? About the suddenly hot market we’re in – buyers are out buying homes, and it’s happening sooner than expected this year.

But why?

Could be the weather. This is one of the most mild winters Northern New Jersey has seen in years. There have been only two (yes, two) snowfalls since October, and temperatures have been in the 60s.

It could also be the low interest rates. Lots of folks who are not seeking a home to buy are refinancing – interest rates are incredibly low. The low rates, coupled with (let’s face it) painfully low home sale prices are sparking lots of action. Even Warren Buffett has been in the news advising folks to PURCHASE NOW.
